A primary focus of classroom instruction is on developing critical thinking skills.

Elective courses in health, physical education, life skills, computing, debate, current events and the visual and performing arts supplement the core curriculum.

Extracurricular activities such as Yearbook, Student Publications Committee (Newspaper or Literary Magazine), Office/Teacher Assistant, Beta Club, drama and praise band are offered, along with athletics.

Beginning with the junior year, eligible students are encouraged to begin college level work at local community colleges.
